Great day at The Grange Golf Club yesterday where Golf Australia SA held the inaugural Golf South Australia Presidents, Captains & General Managers Day.
The Westward Ho team of Sue Donnellan (Women's Vice President), Tony Taylor (Men's Captain) and Colin Anderson (General Manager) came out on top with the best Club combined Stableford score.
With a double win Sue was also part of the winning group score!
Pre golf, a very informative presentation was given by Damien De Bohun, General Manager for Golf Australia Clubs and Facilities and Places to Play.

Junior League
It was great to see four of our young juniors play in the Inner Western Division Junior League today against Kooyonga and Glenelg on the Short Course.
Leona Wang, Tommy Fletcher, Hayden Pimlott and Teo Van Der Merwe all conducted themselves very well with great team camaraderie and spirit while having a lot of fun in the Ambrose format.
With this being the first stage of competitive team golf it really isn’t about the winning. Well done team!

In a very tightly contested Round 6 home match we lost out 4 to 3 against table toppers, Willunga Golf Club. Great effort guys!
Special thank you to our Men’s Club Captain Tony Taylor who acted as starter and rules official as well as Chef Paul who served up a lovely beef curry for all six teams competing.
