Our Golf Courses

Westward Ho offers two golf courses – the championship style, full length 18-hole Patawalonga course designed to challenge all levels of golfers, and the shorter 15-hole Executive 50 course with a links style feel and design more suited to beginners and those looking for a relaxing day out on the golf course.

Patawalonga Course

Following a major redesign in 1998, the Patawalonga course is now one of South Australia’s best public golf courses.

The 18-hole championship style links layout is complemented by mature trees and water hazards. The large, undulating greens are protected by cleverly designed bunkering, presenting a real challenge to even the most competent golfers.

Executive 50 Course

They say “good things come in small packages” and this is certainly the case for the Executive 50 golf course.

Suited to beginners and those just looking for an enjoyable golfing day out, the 15-hole par 50 layout features five par 4s and ten par 3s, all winding their way around the links-style layout. Even for the most experienced golfers, your iron play will be tested, and when the sea breezes blow up, you will truly be amazed by the challenge of this little course.

For those golfers who prefer to play a par 3 course, alternative tee boxes are located on the par 4 holes, allowing the course to be played as a par 45.

Green fees are payable at the West Beach Parks Pro Shop by all club members who do not hold the appropriate playing rights. Playing rights holders agree to abide by the terms and conditions of their playing rights agreement.
